Hey,

I am just flagging an edit (and revert) that I just carried out a few minutes ago.

First, I decided to add a half-sentence more information concerning the various witnesses who testified to the process of extracting Zyklon-B pellets from cremas 2-3. I also flagged this edit so reader could know I made it after the original submission (late Sunday).

However, subsequently I rethought the matter and decided to undo my edit, because I didn't think that would be fair to Dalton, who cannot so easily carry out edits to his content (flagged or not).

Hope that makes sense. The text is now back to the original form. I am adding this rather convoluted explanation as part of my obligation to you, the reader.

Most of the pre-WW2 articles mentioning "Six million Jews in danger" dealt with situation of Jews in (former) Imperial Russia from 1890s to the earlier 1920s. According to 1896 Russian census over 5 million Jews lived in Russia. Despait to high emigration rate, high birth rate caused that Jewish population in Russia didn't decrease by the beginning of the WW1. According to various estimations Jewish population in Russia in this time period was 5 million to 7 million - yes, 6 million was also very often quoted. In this time period many pogroms took place in Russia, especially in the end of 1890s and during the first years of 1900s and during the Civil War. So no wonder that from this time period there were many articles writing about "6 million Jews in danger", but, as you mentioned, there were also more articles mentioning the other "x million Jews in danger" etc.

Nice response. I think it was a good call to ignore Dalton's absurd conspiracy bait regarding the "Implications." It was a totally irrelevant attempt to pivot

Something more to "absurd" statesments:

In 1980s Prague there were rumors that Communist Youth threw random people off the Nusle bridge. And Gulag fugitive Slawomir Rawicz, who escaped from Siberia to India in 1941-1942, claimed that he saw Yeti in Tibet. This doesn't cast doubts on communist crimes.

Great response. It was comprehensive without getting bogged down in the technicalities. Looking forward to the follow up.

That response is retarded. You attack Dalton's 6 million Jews by stating look here is a case where it was 5.1 million... It ignores the point. Who cares what the number is prove the figure. Cite evidence that proves 6 million or 5.1 million killed. Don't just cite documentation that proves people said 6 million or 5.1 million dead.

I'm not concerned about what Dalton actually said because it's convenient to just say it's an agreed upon number - cite evidence reinforcing the number of Jews killed.
